The Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art celebrates and supports the exciting work of artists, artisans, researchers, and scholars whose work is inspired by the continued living artistic and cultural practices of the greater Himalayan region and the diaspora. The Rubin aims to promote the artistic work and research happening in the field of Himalayan art through an annual Rubin Art Prize, monetary grant opportunities, and contemporary art exhibitions.
