Meera Nair is the author of Video and two middle-grade children’s books. Video received the Sixth Annual Asian American Literary Award and was named a Best Book of the Year by the Washington Post. Nair’s work has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Guardian, NPR’s Selected Shorts, and Guernica, among other publications. She teaches creative writing at New York University and cofounded the reading series #QueensWritersResist.
