The Bloomberg Connects app offers access to the Museum’s audio tours, multimedia features, and other supporting content.
In 2023 the Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art teamed up with Bloomberg Connects—a dynamic, easy-to-use app that cultural institutions customize to their content and mission. This free app supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies features interactive digital guides to over 600 organizations worldwide.
Bloomberg Connects enhanced the Rubin’s onsite visitor experience with interactive QR codes throughout the Museum’s 150 West 17th Street building, giving visitors access to audio tours, multimedia features, and other supporting content. Following the building’s closure in October 2024, Bloomberg Connects remains a key partner in the Rubin’s new model as a global museum by offering audio tours for traveling exhibitions and content in over 40 languages, with links to this content also integrated into the Museum’s new website.
