K2 Friday Nights

Free Admission, Cocktails, DJs, and More

K2 Friday Nights have returned at the Rubin with cocktails, art, music, special programs, and more! During K2 Friday Nights, explore all the galleries for free, join a 7:15 PM exhibition tour, and hang out in Cafe Serai, which transforms into the K2 Lounge with a special drinks menu and DJ set.


Admission tickets are released on the 15th of every month, and allow entrance any time between 6:00 and 10:00 PM.


Admission tickets provide access to the galleries, cafe, and public tours. Public program tickets sold separately, if applicable.

K2 LOUNGE GROUP RESERVATIONS

The K2 Lounge offers self-serve open seating on a first-come, first-served basis to individuals and small groups. Reservations are available to groups of 10 or more and are encouraged to book at least 2 weeks in advance. Please note that K2 Lounge group reservations consist of a section of 2 to 4 tables with a mix of seated and standing room.

Group Tours

Groups of 10 or more can pay a discounted per person rate for a private Museum tour every Friday night between 6:00 and 9:00 PM. (Please note that these tours are 30 minutes in length. The Rubin Museum of Art can accommodate tour groups of under 10 visitors, with a minimum payment of 10 tickets.)

  • Seniors (65 and older): $10.00 each
  • Museum members (Art + Abundance level or above): $7.00 each (Become a member today!)

Audio Tours

While group tours are unavailable, visitors can take a self-guided audio tour of the Museum. Download our free app, The Rubin, and listen to curators, guides, and other experts highlight select works from current exhibitions. You can share the audio with friends on social media, save your favorites, and listen on the go.

The app is available for free in the iTunes and GooglePlay stores.
