Rubin x Art Projects

Grant Program

What we support

We support artists and creatives in all disciplines in the creation of new artwork and projects that give visibility to the rich cultural legacy and living traditions of the Himalayan region. Artist project grants fund the exploration of concepts and ideas in Himalayan art that have the power to inspire today’s society. Rubin x Art Projects grants offer support of $2,500 to $25,000.

We prioritize the funding of new artwork and projects that will be made visible to a wide and diverse audience, as part of exhibitions or larger projects such as art fairs. We do not fund commercial projects.

Eligibility

Artists and creatives of all ages and career stages (working in all mediums) can apply for grants.

Deadlines

Grants through this program are offered once yearly. The deadline for the first grant cycle is July 30, 2024. Proposals are reviewed by Rubin staff, select trustees, and additional art professionals and artists as needed and appropriate. The first round of grants will be awarded on or before September 15, 2024.
