Chris Germer, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and lecturer on psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He co-developed the Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) program with Kristin Neff, which has been taught to over 250,000 people around the world. They wrote two popular books: The Mindful Self-Compassion Workbook and Mindful Self-Compassion for Burnout. Chris has also written several books and articles on mental health, including The Mindful Path to Self-Compassion. He leads workshops on self-compassion internationally, and he maintains a small psychotherapy practice in Massachusetts.
