Myisha Cherry is an associate professor of philosophy at the University of California, Riverside. She writes about the role of emotions and attitudes in our moral and public lives. Her books include The Case for Rage, Failures of Forgiveness, and the forthcoming How to Love. She is also the director of the Emotion and Society Lab, and hosts the UnMute Podcast, where she interviews philosophers about the social and political issues of our day. Myisha has written for the Los Angeles Times, The Atlantic, Salon, and New Philosophers Magazine, and her work has been featured in the New Yorker, Essence, and Publisher’s Weekly.
